I Am Andrealemar was born to Pastors Keith & Lavon Gates in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Born into a musical family, from a young age, he displayed several musical abilities. He began singing lead in the Youth & Adult Choirs at the age of 4. He began writing songs at the age of 12. To date, he has written over 300 songs and is currently introducing them to the world. Starting with his lead single entitled "My Emergency", he wants to introduce gospel music to the new generation but from a different perspective. Andrealemar has had the chance to grace the stage with artists such as Kathy McClary, Helen Miller, Jessica Reedy, Betty Wright, Ellison Kendrick, and recorded with many others. He is now ready to step forward into his own ministry!
